We even learned how to publish it on Amazon so you can get it sent right to your home - just like I had my jammies and bunny slippers sent to my home in the forest.

Hi, my name is Diane, and I am Henry's grandmother. Thirty-three years ago, when I was expecting my only son, I found this teddy bear and fell head over heels in love with him.
I had never been around babies, and didn’t know what to expect, so I "practiced" being a mom with the teddy bear, who was baby-sized. Teddy was in the hospital with us when my son was born, and Teddy was in his bed and by his side throughout his childhood.
When my son was tiny, I wrote this story about the adventures of his teddy bear and how he ran away from home when the other bears in his bear village teased him about his beautiful blue jammies and his bunny rabbit slippers.
And that is the story of how Teddy came to live with us.
At the end of the book, the Sleepy Time Bear sings a special song to Henry as he drifts off to sleep at night. I sang that song to my son every night for years when I tucked him into bed.
Two and a half years ago, my grandson Henry was born, and now he is the boy in Teddy’s life.
Here is a recent picture of Teddy – and he looks almost like new! (Must be those great teddy bear genes!)
Teddy was such an important part of our lives that we even had his portrait painted, and it was in my bedroom for many years. Now it hangs in Henry’s room.
I had the story illustrated by a talented artist named Ekatrina Mironova in time for Christmas as my special gift for Henry (and for me, as I had so much fun creating this beautiful picture book.)
I would be honored to share this beautiful story with the little people in your life, You can order the story on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQHJQHGJ. You can get the book in paperback or as a Kindle eBook.
And you can download the teddy bear song to play and sing for your precious little one at https://vimeo.com/895713109 .
I hope the Sleepy Time Bear becomes a beautiful childhood memory for your little ones - and even your big ones when they grow up!
I wish you lots of teddy bear hugs in your future.
